Children on the spectrum have beautiful gifts and talents. God made these children special for a reason.
What society may view as lacking in some areas, such as socialization or development delays, is made up for in other areas. These different areas typically are Arts, Music, Statistics, and other talents. Society often views these talents as obsessions. We prefer to call these talents gifts.
Autistic children are beautiful and brilliant in their way.
Autism in Classrooms' mission is to distribute literature in classrooms throughout the United States to increase ASD awareness to make the next generation more tolerant and understanding.
Please consider helping to support our mission by donating today to help us reach our goal of providing 2,020 books throughout the classrooms in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, in 2020.
The book being donated is based upon a true story written by a likable boy and his mother about his daily interactions impacted by his Aspergers. This children's book designed for grades 3-5 is a much-needed read for ALL CHILDREN that will introduce autism by providing an understanding and overall awareness.
It is also beneficial for teachers, coaches, and family members to understand a very misunderstood disorder.
